It's been awhile since I had my hair professionally done.

And besides my mom, no one has attempted to manage my twisted locks but me. So I asked the girls over at Curly Nikki Forums a few days ago what metro-Detroit salons should I visit when I go home for the holidays. I was informed Transitions in Farmington Hills was the way to go.

 First, I had no clue what to even ask for. Twists, twist out, um... anything to make my hair nice. Second, I'm super worried that they won't have any idea how to manage my hair, especially since I'm simply transitioning. I managed to get in a great weekend time with the owner so she and I could sit down and work this out. Hopefully, when I blog again about my salon experience. It'll be all good.
